I just uploaded Cody's Halloween costume in my gallery. I know I am a little late with that, but, life happens. Check them out... he was so excited to be a puppy like his black lab named Moses... he was also excited to have a tail like his 'Mosie"... and I can't believe Jennifer actually got Cody & Moses to stay still, side by side for the Moses #1 & Moses #2 picture!! It is priceless!!

I made some things for the church bazaar... a set of 4 placemats and a table runner. This past week, I have been working on more sets of placemats, 4 to be exact, and I am happy top say I finished them today! One set is for me, one set for Jennifer, and 2 to sell, if I can. Christmas is coming and we can use the extra money, just like everyone else. Tonight, I started to make a stocking for one of the little girls in the neighborhood. I made 2 others in years past, for her cousin & sister.

I have been taking knitting lessons since late September. I have learned to make dish cloths, (which I have made 2 already), a knitted hat, am almost finished with the scarf to match that, and last week, we started on 'Fireside Socks'. I will love those once winter sets in because I am always cold, especially my feet!! I have the first sock almost done and should have the second one done long before Christmas! We have one more lesson with the instructor. Linda is a FANTASTIC teacher!! I do like the knitting and it is much easier to carry to doctor appointments than quilting projects. I guess I'll have to expand my 'shop hopping' trips to include both quilt shops and yarn shops!!!

Well, going to close for now... It's time to go do some knitting before bed. That has become my routine.

Till next time.....  HAPPY STITCHING!
