Well, I can't believe it... I actually forgot about our guild meeting tonight... and I am the President! That's bad... really bad. But, I am sure the ladies managed...

No sewing today... my back was giving me fits, so setting at the machine wouldn't have done me any good. Maybe tomorrow.

Not a whole lot to write about tonight, other than our grandson Cody will be coming on Friday morning to stay until Saturday afternoon... I always look forward to Fridays, for just this reason!

Goodnight ALL!

The weekend of the fourth went fast, but it was productive as I did a virtual sewing retreat with my cyber friends. I did take breaks on Saturday and visited with family & friends at a few picnics, etc. Projects were accomplished or seriously worked on, and that is what counts. Now, to get back to them during this week would be even better!

It is hard to believe that the 4th of July is over already, as it seems here in PA the summer has just begun. It has been about 3 days and no rain... imagine that!!! I am quite happy about that, myself. I went to the garden last night, and saw that all the rain never deterred the weeds! So, now that the garden is dry enough, I'll need to get them pulled!

We have Bible School at one of our churches this week, during the morning hours. I like having it at those times. I am in charge of crafts. Yesterday, being the first day, was a bit chaotic, unorganized and noisy. But, all in all, I think things went well.

Well, my tea is ready, and I am going to go set a while and probably watch a bit of TV, maybe fall back to sleep, which would be nice!

Have a great day!

Tomorrow is Friday, on a holiday weekend... and I'll be starting a personal home sewing retreat... YIPPEE! I have been trying to get to the sewing room all week, and it hasn't happened for one reason or another. But, I am committed and determined to make my plans happen this weekend. Saturday, I will be going to my brother's picnic for a few hours and then on to my cousins, (probably the other way around), but, then I'll be back at the machine! Now, what project to take along with me to do... I'll have to think on that tonight... Actually, the question is, what UFO am I taking along?

The rain and cooler temps are still happening here, so I am still longing for the sunshine & warmer temps. I hope they come soon.

OK... I'm off to bed. I want to be well refreshed to start my sewing retreat!
